We love nothing more than catching criminals in the act. It is the reason Andy and I built PSM. Intruders may think they are the only people awake at 3am, but they couldn’t be more wrong. This weekend alone, our brilliant and experienced operator Bernadette handled 2 criminal incidents. Her experience in remote monitoring CCTV spans over 25 years. Invaluable. I was still in high school!
Just last night, Bernadette identified 3 intruders at a Waste Management depot in Manchester attempting to cause damage and carry out theft.
On Friday evening, upon receipt of an alarm from a much loved customer’s office in Bolton, Bernadette immediately saw an intruder looking for open doors and windows in an attempt to gain access. Bernadette knows that when this doesn’t work, intruders try more forceful methods.
It took Bernadette on average 4 seconds to respond to the incoming alarms. 20 seconds later, she issued the audio warnings to stop criminals in their tracks. The police were immediately notified of the activities and exact locations of both incidents.
