PSM’s control room functions like a well-oiled machine, with everyone involved having a role to play in providing our clientele with watertight security around the clock. As such, there is something to be said about what it’s like to be an operator: one of the cogs keeping the machine running, as it were. The sense of satisfaction in knowing that I personally am helping to prevent and ‘clean up’ criminal activity across the country (and beyond) is unmatched. But I don’t just speak for myself when I say that fewer things are more rewarding.
Everyone at PSM shares a passion for what they do. It is because of our collective enthusiasm that we continue to achieve a one-hundred percent success rate in handling the various alarms and activations that come through to our control room, and the continuous and systematic training we receive ensures that we are always adapting to the ever-changing industry and meeting the individual needs of our clients. For me, working alongside likeminded people who really care about the wellbeing of others is more than ‘just a job’; it’s fighting crime as part of a bona fide Justice League; it’s being a hero!
