Arrest Made | Business Park Security
Arrest made using our unique 24/7 CCTV monitoring and perimeter detection software
During the early hours of this weekend, a trespasser was seen climbing the fence of a business park that we monitor. Simultaneously working as a team, as the intruder began looking through windows and trying doors, our operators notified the police, keyholders and issued audio warnings to deter criminal activity. Although the intruder tried to leave, he was unable to escape before the police arrived on site and arrested him. With our unique Business Park security software and rapid response, this brought another proud moment for the PSM team helping the police to take a criminal off the streets.
Not only have our interventions saved our client a great deal of money in potential damages and ramifications from their tenants, we have also saved their tenants thousands of pounds worth of stock, loss of productivity and reputations.
So how are we able to prevent criminal activity so quickly and efficiently 0 PSMs entire operation – including alarm receiving software – is controlled, created and developed in-house. With this unique perimeter detection software, the intruder was detected at the site’s boundaries, before he had chance to potentially cause any damage to a tenant’s building.
Our clients’ security is paramount, and we take every instance of intrusion seriously. This is felt by our clients. James Walker from James Walker Properties, whose business we saved from an intruder comments:
“It is so refreshing to work with a company that cares about the service it provides – such an attitude of mind set comes from the top. Well done all of you and thanks.”

Prevent potential damage and financial loss with 24/7 CCTV monitoring and perimeter detection Business Park security
Business Park security is critical for the protection of the entire site, which includes all of the properties, assets and stock belonging to the many businesses within the park. Business Parks attract passers by at all times of day and night, as they tend to be open-access sites with buildings easily accessible to would be intruders. They can be left particularly vulnerable without adequate CCTV monitoring, due to the sheer scale of an average Business Park site, with many areas of opportunity for potential theft and damage to property.
At night when the park and its buildings are particularly vulnerable to attacks is where 24/7 CCTV monitoring is essential. Intruders know there are a plethora of goods and furnishings inside these properties that have considerable value, so will look for every possible area they can exploit.
Not having adequate CCTV monitoring could have devastating consequences so it is vital that a business park has the right CCTV monitoring security in place. If an intruder goes undetected on the park, they have full access to all of the buildings, causing damage to doors and windows – which to repair would be very expensive and could also result in the business being closed for a prolonged period. This would hugely impact day to day sales, with profits being reduced and productivity impacted. Theft of stock could result in huge financial losses and seriously damage the business’ operations.
PSM recommends bespoke monitoring and perimeter detection. Our tailored perimeter detection service ensures that intruder activity is picked up at the site’s boundaries before it has a chance to develop, therefore minimising the risk to your business and its assets.
Using a combination of CCTV cameras, motion detectors and our unique software, perimeter detection is set up to:
- DETECT – intruders before they reach your property.
- DETER – intruders by issuing audio warnings as soon as they enter the perimeter of your property.
- DEFEND – your property by reporting incidents to the police in real time, meaning that they can respond without delay.
