Meet Steve Bimpson

Affectionately known around the office as “the one that almost got away,” Steve knew he was a perfect match for PSM from day one.

Unfortunately, we didn’t see it at first and let him slip through the net after his initial interview.

But fate had other plans.

A few months later, when Steve spotted another opportunity with us, he didn’t hesitate to apply again.

This time, his email was impossible to ignore – he made a compelling case for why he was the perfect fit, and he was absolutely right!

The moment he met with Kerry, she knew it too.

Thanks to his persistence, he’s now a valued member of our operations team, keeping customers up to speed and their sites running smoothly – drawing on his extensive experience in the police and prison service.

When he’s off the clock, he loves fishing, walking his dogs, travelling, and all things cars and rugby.

We asked Steve:

What one word would you use to describe yourself?

‘Active’

What is your favourite saying?

‘If you never go, you will never know.’

What in your view are the most important aspects of working at PSM?

‘Communication is key and you can’t become complacent. Our customers have high standards and it’s our job to meet them.’
