Our Accreditations

We're proud of our accreditations and awards

PSM strives for excellence

We work tirelessly to attain the highest accreditations possible in our heavily regulated industry. We are proud to have achieved the following accreditations and awards:

  • BSIA: PSM become a member of the British Security Industry Association.
  • NSI GOLD monitoring of intruder, fire and CCTV systems.
  • Category II remote centre. The highest category for alarm handling, CCTV signalling, integrity and security of construction, communications, operation and information.
  • Secured By Design: we were the first remote monitoring CCTV company to be awarded this police-preferred supplier accreditation.
  • Invest in People (WIIP) accreditation.
  • ISO9001 UKAS Quality Management System. The international standard that requires quality service and processes.
  • BS5979 British Standard for remote centres receiving signals from fire and security systems.
  • BS7858 British Standard for security screening of individuals employed in a security environment.
  • Cyber Essentials certification.

Not only are we passionate about obtaining the highest quality accreditations we are proud that in our most recent NSI Gold external audit, we passed with ZERO improvement needs identified.

Quality means doing it right even when nobody is looking. We ensure that our operations are quality every second of every day and are confident that should an external audit be carried out at random, we would pass with flying colours without notice to prepare.

BSIA Logo

BSIA

PSM become a member of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).

We’re pleased to announce we recently joined the British Security Industry Association, who have been shaping our sector for over 50 years. PSM met the standards and criteria needed to be admitted, and we look forward to working closely with the team to make a real difference.

BSIA is the voice of the security industry; they support and encourage excellence, educate the marketplace on the value of quality security, and influence the industry’s future.

As a company, we don’t subscribe to the ‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it’ mentality – we’re always looking at ways to better ourselves even further.

NSI Gold

Monitoring of intruder, fire and CCTV systems.

NSI audits are renowned for being strict, thorough and professional so we are particularly proud to have achieved the highest accreditation possible – NSI Gold.

We wear the badge with honour! This demonstrates our continuous commitment to quality service and desire to always exceed customer expectations.

We adopt a Quality Management System because our passion is to deliver quality service every second of each day not just because the NSI, police and insurance industry demand it.

PSM Accreditations Investors in People

Investors in People

Investors in People’s ‘We Invest in People’ (WIIP) accreditation.

Investors in People is a standard for people management – offering accreditation to organisations that consistently outperform industry norms. Whatever the industry, organisations that adhere to the Investors in People framework are more efficient, productive, profitable, sustainable, and also have more positive expectations for the future.

We are overjoyed to have passed Investors in People’s rigorous assessment process and to receive their endorsement as a company that excels in our industry.

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Security Certification.

Cyber security has never been more important than it is today. PSM takes no responsibility lightly and cyber security is no exception.

We are delighted to announce our government approved Cyber Essentials certification. Not only does this protect our organisation against cyber-attacks, it demonstrates to our customers and supply chain that we have considered security controls and are working in a safe and secure environment.

Hackers attack every 39 seconds, on average 2,244 times a day, therefore PSM will endeavour to improve and evolve our cyber security solutions.

“Moving to PSM has been a great success; your staff are attentive and courteous which is exactly what we want. The monitoring team are available on the phone after one ring and are quickly getting used to our work patterns with the minimum of fuss. “I couldn’t live without PSM’s service. I thought it would be intrusive at first, but it isn’t. When my daughter comes home from school and sets the system once inside, she has a security barrier around her. I know she is safe and protected.”
